"Dream - New Orange Karaoke night entertainment venue in Tegal, Central Java, caught fire on Monday, January 15, 2024. Six karaoke hostesses were trapped in the blaze and died. Meanwhile, three other victims are still being treated at Kardinah Hospital in Tegal City."

Rully said the fire occurred around 08.00 WIB. The police, assisted by residents, immediately helped evacuate the victims. "We immediately came to the location with the AWC car belonging to the Police Department. We did this to assist the firefighters in extinguishing the fire," he said.

Meanwhile, to handle the fire, the Tegal Kota Police Resort deployed 2 fire trucks, one crane owned by Dishub, and one Armoured Water Cannon (AWC) owned by the Police Resort.
