Anies' words when delivering his vision in the first debate at the KPU Office, Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
"Unfortunately, there are still many shortcomings, including in the equitable distribution of development, leading to disparities that create unequal opportunities for millennials."
The translation of "Perubahan" to English is "Change".
Anies said that this condition must not continue. "Will it be allowed to continue? We must make changes; we see this as fundamental," he said.
The first debate is moderated by two moderators, namely Ardianto Wijaya and Velerina Daniel. The debate will last for 120 minutes. The theme of the first debate for the presidential candidates is governance, law, human rights, eradication of corruption, strengthening democracy, improving public services, and community harmony.
