It is known that Achmad Syech Albar, who is the vocalist of the band God Bless, started his career journey as a child actor in the movie titled 'Djenderal Kantjil' in 1958. He only entered the music world when he was 12 years old.

Iyek, together with the Clover Leaf group since 1967, has released nine songs. Some of them, such as 'Don't Spoil My Day' and 'Grey Clouds', received positive responses from the Dutch community at that time.
Iyek returned to Indonesia at the end of 1972 and continued his music career here. They formed a band called God Bless together with Fuad Hassan (drums), Donny Fattah (bass), Jockie Surjoprajogo (keyboard), and Ludwig Lemans (guitar) from the Netherlands.
It's no wonder that this singer, who was born in Surabaya on July 16, 1946, often receives praise for his handsome and cool appearance. Even though he is not considered young anymore, Iyek still radiates a captivating charm.
