Dream - Islam teaches various noble acts that can bring goodness to oneself and others. One of them is by sharing. This Ramadan month is an opportunity for every Muslim to increase their good deeds by providing food for those who break their fast. Sharing food is one of the examples shown by Prophet Muhammad during his lifetime. Besides earning rewards, this act also helps spread happiness to others. That is what Prophet Muhammad and his companions did throughout their lives.
The following is the translation of the 'Bahasa' text to 'English' while preserving any html tags: "Friends teach and do the activity of sharing with others, whether it is to neighbors, the less fortunate, or those who are fasting. Here are the privileges of sharing food with others as summarized by Dream through various sources."
Sharing food is something that Dream's friend can do to anyone. It doesn't have to be only to people who are known. In fact, even to non-Muslims, it is very good.
Sharing food with others not only brings rewards, but also becomes a means of fostering relationships. In a hadith, it is explained: "A companion asked the Prophet, which Islamic country is the best? The Prophet replied, 'You always feed and greet both those you know and those you don't know.'" (Narrated by Muslim) Providing food to anyone can alleviate their fear of poverty. In fact, such an attitude will bring people closer together.
Rasulullah saw is the best example for Muslims in all aspects of life, including sharing food.
"He who teaches the importance of sharing food with others as a way to guarantee entry into heaven. The Prophet Muhammad reminded his people that those who frequently share food will be guaranteed entry into heaven. In a hadith narrated by Muslim, he said: "The person who gives food to someone who is fasting will receive the same reward as the person who is fasting, without diminishing the reward of the fasting person in the slightest." Additionally, the Prophet Muhammad also taught that sharing food with family and neighbors is an obligation. In a hadith narrated by Ibn Majah, he said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should be generous to his neighbor and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should be generous to his guest.""
"No one of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." Allah SWT also promises a special room in heaven for those who enjoy sharing food. In the hadith narrated by Tirmidhi, the Prophet Muhammad said: "Indeed, Allah has prepared a house in heaven for those who provide food and drink to those who are fasting." In the Islamic perspective, sharing food is a noble act that will bring blessings and guarantee entry into heaven."
Therefore, as Muslims, we must follow the example of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in sharing food and providing benefits to others.
The reward for feeding people who are fasting is very great.
"Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) once said that whoever feeds a fasting person will receive the same reward as the fasting person, without reducing the reward of the fasting person themselves. In a hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah, the Prophet also mentioned that one of the eight gates of Paradise can be opened by feeding a fasting person. The reward of fasting individuals also plays a crucial role in expanding such goodness. One example that can be mentioned is Abu Bakr Ash-Shiddiq, a companion of the Prophet known for his kindness."
He often feeds those who are fasting, especially widows and orphans. This shows that feeding fasting people provides benefits not only to the recipients of the food, but also to the giver. Paying attention to and showing kindness to neighbors is one of the highly recommended attitudes in Islam. When someone gives food to a fasting neighbor, they will receive great rewards and cultivate good relationships, as well as foster harmony and togetherness among them.
