Funny Moment: Chef Juna Made Insecure by a Seller of Kerak Telor, the Old Man Ended Up Sweating from His Cooking Being Commented

Dream - Known as a chef with delicious food menus, Chef Juna turns out to be made insecure by an old man who sells kerak telor. The cook and judge in a cooking competition known for his strict and fierce character was surprised to hear about the profession of the vendor. 

The full name owner, Juna Rorimpandey, is known for rarely smiling at the contestants of MasterChef Indonesia. His unusual behavior occurred when he tasted the typical Betawi cuisine, kerak telor, together with Chef Renatta. 

Behind his cold demeanor, Chef Juna is actually a humble person with a sense of humor that can make people around him laugh.

In a video uploaded by Tiktok account @kisarasa_id, a moment was captured when Chef Juna and Chef Renatta bought kerak telor cooked by an old man who carried a cart on his shoulder, as usual. 

From the video, both of them were at a Jakarta port, as seen from the ship docked behind them. While waiting for their order to be made, these two chefs took the time to chat with the kerak telor seller.

"How long has it been? (selling kerak telor)," Chef Juna asked.

"30 years, sir," the old man replied while fanning the stove in front of him.

Hearing the old man's answer, Chef Juna and Chef Renatta were immediately surprised. As someone known as a famous chef, Chef Juna considered the profession of the kerak telor seller to be not a short time.

"Huh? Seriously? I thought I had been in the kitchen for a long time, turns out he has been cooking for 30 years," Chef Juna said, then burst into laughter.

As is known, Chef Juna is known as someone who has been involved for a long time and has a lot of experience in the cooking and culinary world. However, he admitted that the old man has been cooking much longer than him.

Not only that, in another video on the same account, the kerak telor seller asked for feedback on whether his food was delicious enough to be served. Without hesitation, Chef Juna responded briefly.

"Great, sweet, savory," he said while enjoying the freshly cooked kerak telor.

Hearing this, the kerak telor seller felt grateful and very happy that his cooking was praised by a famous professional chef. "Alhamdulillah," he said.

After being uploaded, this video went viral on social media and received various responses from netizens in the comment section.
