The selection of the CASN 2024 competency, which is conducted online, also utilizes face recognition technology, thereby minimizing the potential for cheating. The selection scores can be known in real time and are accessible to the public, including the live scores which are also broadcasted via YouTube.

"Azwar Anas explained that this year the government is also providing a significant allocation for fresh graduates to participate in selections, both for lecturers, teachers, healthcare workers, technical staff including digital talents, and many other important sectors."

The details of the formation are as follows: the central agency receives a formation requirement of 429,183, consisting of 207,247 civil servant candidates (CPNS) and 221,936 for Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK). This formation is a combination for teachers, lecturers, health workers, and technical staff.

"Meanwhile, the formation of regional agencies is 1,867,333, consisting of 483,575 civil servant candidates (CPNS) and 1,383,758 government employees with work agreements (PPPK). The PPPK formation in regional agencies is allocated for teachers amounting to 419,146, health workers totaling 417,196, and 547,416 formations for technical staff. As for the allocation for vocational schools, this year the government opened 6,027 formations. The formation of regional agencies is larger than that in central agencies because the composition of state civil servants (ASN) is indeed greater in the regions."
