Dream - Behind the success of a brand, there is always extraordinary dedication. As seen in the inspirational story of Lira Krisnalisa, a local brand entrepreneur who has successfully carved her name in the fashion industry of the homeland.
Lira is able to present innovative and high-quality products through the Jenna & Kaia brand. For Lira, establishing Jenna & Kaia since 2016 is not just following trends, but also proof of long-standing interest in the fashion world. With high enthusiasm accompanied by a clear vision, Lira decided to start her own business career with a focus on research and product development that she built.
"In the beginning, Lira was a former employee of a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) who resigned and started a self-taught business journey in 2016 without having any educational background in the fashion field. However, through her spirit, she continued to create and innovate to build a clothing business that she named after her two beloved daughters, Jenna and Kaia."
Face various failures along the way, this mother of three children realizes that failure is part of the process towards success. Although it is difficult to accept failure, Lira sees every mistake as a valuable lesson for her journey in achieving success. Lira tells that in her journey she experienced a significant failure, even losing 1200 products in one opportunity. However, she chooses not to be engulfed in sadness. Instead, Lira chooses to rise again with greater motivation.
Lira's story during Halalbihalal and Talkshow with Tokopedia and Shop at Parle Senayan, Central Jakarta, Thursday, April 25, 2024.
During that moment, Lira continued, she had to remember that there were 80 employees who needed to be paid every month, so she became motivated to continue running Jenna & Kaia business. In the end, this womanpreneur saw every failure as a challenge to keep growing. With having 80 employees, she felt responsible to continuously inspire and lead.
Through consistency as the key, Jenna & Kaia continue to grow through the launch of products every month and collaborations as well as fashion shows every year.
"Furthermore, the fashion brand has even made its way to Paris by 2024."
Lira has felt that the sales of the fashion brand she has built are continuously increasing significantly. Until now, she is preparing herself for the launch of her latest collection, which collaborates with a psychologist and also an influencer in Indonesia, namely Analisa Widyaningrum, on April 29th.
The journey full of struggle and perseverance of a former employee has inspired many people to never stop having big dreams, and it shows that through strong determination, success will be achieved. Report: Delia Salsabilla
