Dream - Payment of the 13th salary for Civil Servants (PNS) will begin today, Monday 3 June 2024.
Payment of the 13th salary for civil servants refers to Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia (PP) Number 14 of 2024 concerning the Granting of THR (Religious Holiday Allowance) and the 13th Salary to State Apparatus, Retirees, Pension Recipients, and Allowance Recipients for the year 2024.

The government has allocated a budget for the 13th salary for central government civil servants and the TNI-Polri from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) amounting to Rp18 trillion. Meanwhile, for regional civil servants, it will be distributed from the APBN through the Regional Transfer instrument worth Rp21.1 trillion.
Then an allocation of Rp11.7 trillion is allocated for retirees. The amount of the 13th pension is charged to the Central State Budget from the State General Treasurer.
The 13th salary for retirees is paid in full, consisting of basic pension, family allowance, food allowance, and additional income.
The thirteenth salary for retirees is not subject to deductions for contributions, pension credits, and similar deductions. Payment is only subject to income tax in accordance with applicable regulations. So, who are included in the recipients of the thirteenth salary?
In Article 3 of Government Regulation Number 14 of 2024, it is stated in detail the groups of state officials who receive the 13th salary, including: Civil Servants (PNS) and Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS), Government Employees with Employment Agreements (PPPK), Indonesian National Army Soldiers (TNI), Members of the Indonesian National Police (POLRI), State Officials.
