Around 300 orphaned children who were specially invited were also present. On that occasion, Amran conveyed issues of food and energy crisis. "We must maintain food security because if a food crisis occurs, it will escalate into a political crisis," said Amran.

According to him, currently many countries are withholding aid or exports like India to maintain their food stability. Indonesia itself is also experiencing El Nino or a prolonged drought that affects production. However, he is grateful that some regions have started to rain. "Alhamdulillah, we are blessed because during the inauguration days, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Sumatra have started to rain," he said.

Meanwhile, Amran also receives allowances, based on Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 68 of 2001 regarding Position Allowances for Certain State Officials. Amran, who serves as a minister, receives a position allowance of Rp 13,608,000 per month. So if calculated, the salary and allowances obtained by Amran are around Rp 18.64 million.

Every minister will also receive ministerial operational funds (DOM) of around Rp120 million to Rp150 million per month, which is regulated in the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) No268/PMK.05/2014 regarding the Procedures for Implementing Ministerial/Leadership Operational Funds. In addition to operational funds, ministers will receive official residences, official vehicles, and others.
