Ira is also optimistic about continuing to contribute further to the Company in the future. Ira's new position with Unilever will be announced in due course, and her successor will be proposed at the next Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPSLB) of the Company.

Before holding the position of President Director, Ira served as the Beauty & Personal Care Director of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (2017-2020), Managing Director for Unilever Foods Solutions South East Asia (2015-2017), and Ice Cream, Media, and Consumer Market Insight Director at PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (2010-2015). She obtained a degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia (1995), majoring in Financial Accounting.

In the third quarter of 2023, Unilever recorded a net sales of Rp10.2 trillion, with domestic sales growth of 3.3 percent and domestic volume growth of 4.3 percent compared to the same quarter last year. Gross margin in this quarter increased by 483 bps compared to Q3 2022. Additionally, the Company also reported a very strong net profit growth of 21 percent year on year, with a net profit of Rp1.4 trillion.

Unilever also announced that it will begin the transformation towards a Business Unit-managed organization after the previous year's changes were implemented at the global company level. This transformation will begin in January 2024. Unilever Indonesia will operate five Business Units that focus on different business segments, namely Beauty and Wellbeing, Personal Care, Home Care, Nutrition, and Ice Cream. The goal of this change is to sharpen the focus on long-term growth potential in Indonesia.
