"Muhammadiyah University of Maumere, located in Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), offers tuition fee payment through agricultural products and commodities."

This is done so that children of farmers, fishermen, and any other profession who experience economic difficulties can still pursue higher education.

Revealed the Rector of Muhammadiyah University Maumere, Erwin Prasetyo, quoted from Muhammadiyah page, Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

Apart from the agricultural produce, this campus, which falls under the category of "Muhammadiyah Christian University," also offers the option of paying tuition fees in installments for six years or 72 monthly installments without interest. "The installments are interest-free," said Erwin.

The provision of six years' time, according to Erwin, can make it easier for students to pay their tuition fees when they have completed their four-year studies and then work. However, before they have paid off their fees, the campus only facilitates the photocopying of diplomas so that alumni can freely search for employment.

In addition to the two schemes above, Erwin said that Muhammadiyah University Maumere also accepts KIP (Smart Indonesia Card) scholarships and LazisMu scholarships. The convenience is provided by offering tuition fee discounts for applicants.

It is known that Muhammadiyah Maumere University has two faculties. First, the Faculty of Education and Pedagogy with 8 study programs (Mathematics Education, Physics Education, Biology Education, Chemistry Education, Civic Education, Economics Education, Indonesian Language Education, and English Language Education). Second, the Faculty of Science and Business with 3 study programs (Informatics, Digital Business, and Health Administration). All of these study programs have been accredited B.
