Dream - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) asked ministries or institutions to stop creating new applications that run independently.
Because he recorded that there are already 27 thousand public service applications owned by the government, both central and regional, which are not integrated and overlapping.
"ungkapnya dikutip dari laman setkab, Senin, 27 Mei 2024." translates to "he said as quoted from the setkab page, Monday, May 27, 2024."
Selain itu, dia juga menyinggung anggaran yang akan dikeluarkan untuk membuat aplikasi baru untuk tahun ini saja mencapai Rp6,2 triliun. Translation: In addition, he also mentioned the budget that will be allocated to develop a new application for this year alone, reaching Rp6.2 trillion.
President's words.
"Bahkan, lanjutnya, terdapat kementerian yang memiliki lebih dari 500 aplikasi. "Karena setiap, mungkin dulu, setiap ganti menteri ganti aplikasi, ganti dirjen ganti aplikasi. Sama di daerah, ganti gubernur ganti aplikasi, ganti kepala dinas ganti aplikasi. Orientasinya selalu proyek. Itu yang kita hentikan dan tidak boleh diteruskan lagi," imbuh Presiden." Translation: "Furthermore, there are ministries that have more than 500 applications. 'Because every time, maybe in the past, every time a minister changes, the applications change, when a director general changes, the applications change. The same goes for regions, when a governor changes, the applications change, when a head of department changes, the applications change. The orientation is always towards projects. That is what we have stopped and should not be continued,' added the President."
In the same opportunity, Jokowi also launched GovTech Indonesia called INA Digital. INA Digital is an integrated government digital service platform and will be launched in September 2024.
With the presence of INA Digital, the President hopes that government services to the community can be simplified and integrated through one application.
"Every ministry/agency and local government must together carry out the integration and interoperability of applications and data, there should no longer be excuses such as 'this is mine', 'this data belongs to me', 'this data belongs to my ministry', 'this data belongs to my agency', 'this data belongs to my local government'. We cannot move forward if we still nurture our egocentrism. So once again, leave behind old practices, leave behind old mindsets," he said during the launch of INA Digital at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday, May 27, 2024."
