Dream - Social media was recently abuzz with the long queue of job applicants lining up at a seblak stall in Ciamis, West Java. In a widely circulated video, the applicants waiting in line even reached hundreds of people.
Women and men seen in the queue until the streets of the seblak stall are crowded. The attractive figure of the seblak boss who attracts many applicants is named Satria Maulana.
In the TikTok account post @bangsatria_98, Satria stated that the viral video is a moment when he and the team were doing a walk-in interview.
However, Satria actually only needs 20 new employees. Unexpectedly, hundreds came. "We need 20 people, that's why we dare to open a walk-in interview," he wrote in the post.
The following 'Bahasa' text translated to 'English' while preserving any html tags: "It is known that the seblak stall is named Bangsat Seuhah, which opened in May 2023. Seeing the large number of people applying, Satria believes that Indonesia is currently facing a job crisis."
"There are so many people waiting for this interview, MasyaAllah Tabarakallah, it turns out that Indonesia is indeed in a state of job emergency, my friends,""
reveal Satria.
Satria chose to do a walk-in interview because in the past he had recruited through email, but he found it ineffective. He also advised people who already have jobs to be grateful. "So, for friends who are still unemployed or maybe those who already have jobs, be grateful for your situation," he said.
In the walk-in interview, the applicants are interviewed directly by him and his team. He also provides drinks and food for the applicants.
Satria started the seblak food stall business with a capital of Rp10 million. Satria can now sell 300 bowls per day. "If it's 300 bowls per day, of course it's possible to sell out, even if there's a lot of enthusiasm, it can run out of bowls," said Satria in the YouTube show "Naik Kelas."
Not only that, per month, Satria's seblak stall can generate revenue of up to Rp3000 million from two branches per month. "If it's just per month for those two branches, it can reach the number of 300, 300 million, praise be to God," he said.
