"Regarding the carry-on items later, we urge the pilgrims to comply with the flight regulations regarding carry-on items," said Abdillah.
According to him, the baggage will be transported first by Garuda Indonesia and Saudia Airlines. Meanwhile, for pilgrims, they are only allowed to bring two bags and only one cabin bag weighing 7 kilograms along with a small shoulder bag containing passports and important documents.
"The heavy baggage weighs 32 kg and will be transported by cargo aircraft. So, passengers are not allowed to bring more than two pieces of carry-on baggage," he said. Abdillah also mentioned that passengers who dare to bring Zamzam water will be inspected by the airline and airport authorities."
