The Excitement of Scribbling All New Agya GR Sport Cars at Puri Lukisan Museum

Dream - Tuesday, April 4, 2023, Dream had the opportunity to test drive the latest Toyota car, Agya. This test drive was conducted from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport to the Puri Lukisan Museum area in Ubud.

Our journey began with the distribution of vehicles for each group. One Agya car was filled with four media journalists who took turns trying out this newest Toyota car.

Arriving at the Puri Lukisan Museum, each group including Dream journalist, Ferdike Yunuri, was challenged to paint on the car hood. The drawing with the theme Move with No Boundaries can be freely expressed on the car hood with colorful paint.

Dream and the group drew a ballerina figure that represents a movement. The ballerina figure in the middle of the car hood appears to be dancing to move from a 'dark and miserable' background to a background that depicts a cheerful and colorful side.

Dream - The latest generation of Toyota Agya was launched on March 10, 2023. The presence of the All New Agya and All New Agya GR Sport received positive responses.

The latest Toyota car has a starting price of Rp167 million for the LCGC variant and Rp250 million for the GR Sport variant.

Henry Tanoto, Vice President Director of Toyota Astra Motor (TAM), revealed that the reception of Agya in the Indonesian community has been quite good. There are hundreds of Vehicle Booking Letters (SPK).

"Ten days since the launch, there were 549 SPKs throughout Indonesia, so it's quite good. We see enthusiasm from the community, both for GR Sport and non-GR Sport variants," said Henry.

Henry added that the number of SPKs for the Agya GR Sport is around 20 percent to 30 percent, making the Agya LCGC variant still dominant.

The All New Agya is back with improved performance and engine efficiency, handling, and better comfort, as well as equipped with the latest technology that provides peace of mind to customers.

Agya and Agya GR Sport utilize a new platform that provides space for the use of a new engine. Both adopt the new 1,200 cc 3-cylinder Dual VVT-i engine with 88 PS power and higher torque at 113 Nm. Improvements in low engine speed provide better power agility, while still being fuel efficient with an average fuel consumption of more than 21 km/liter.

This hatchback's performance is enhanced by the new CVT transmission developed with a fixed gear ratio, allowing for faster and linear acceleration.

In addition, the CVT transmission is equipped with Active D Control technology, which works more quietly under normal conditions and maintains fuel efficiency, while still providing instant acceleration.

Available in E and G types, the exterior design of the Agya is developed to create a sporty, powerful, and aggressive image. Thanks to the new design, the Agya has better aerodynamic performance with a 3% lower coefficient of drag, making the Agya more stable and agile.

The front side looks aggressive thanks to the sharp bumper design and solid volume, creating a strong body posture. The audio system with a 7-inch Head Unit is complete with mirroring features, as well as connections via Bluetooth, AUX-IN, and USB. Tilt steering and Front & Rear Separated Head Rest are available in all types, while Digital AC, Steering Switch, and Push Start Button are available in the G type.
