Family Sees Anomalies

Meanwhile, Bripda Ignatius's father, Y Pandi, expressed sadness and shock over the loss of his son who was shot by his colleague.

"We are deeply saddened because we love our son very much, who is no longer with us. May God be with you, my child," said Y Pandi, quoted from a video uploaded on Instagram account @melawi.spezial.

Pandi received news of his son's passing from the National Police Headquarters. However, he feels that there are several anomalies in the incident that took his son's life. He believes that the explanations given are not reasonable.

He urged the Indonesian National Police to be transparent and open in revealing the case of police shooting a police officer at the Rusun Polri, Cikeas, Gunung Putri, Bogor, West Java.

"How is it possible that a firearm suddenly went off and hit our son's neck precisely? We still want transparency, honesty, and professionalism from the National Police Headquarters," said Y Pandi.

Previously, the autopsy process for Bripda Ignatius Dwi Frisco's body at the RS Polri Sukanto Jakarta had been completed. The body is now being returned to the hometown for burial.

Autopsy Results

The Head of Polri Hospital Kramat Jati, Brig. Gen. Pol Hariyanto, said that the autopsy results showed that Bripda Ignatius died from a single gunshot wound that pierced from his right ear to his left.

This confirms the video circulating on social media regarding the bandage wrapped around his head.

"Oh, that's not the journalists' consumption (autopsy results). What matters is that there is only one gunshot wound. You already know, the video is correct. From the back of the right ear to the back of the left ear," he said.

Hariyanto emphasized that there were no other wounds on Bripda Ignatius's body, apart from the single gunshot wound in the ear area.

"There are no other wounds, that's it, it's correct, as shown in the video. It was conducted here correctly, and he only had one gunshot wound," he explained.
