1. Reduce eating.
2. Be diligent in performing night prayers.
3. Read the Quran more, especially if read with tartil, according to the rules of Tajweed and consistently.
4. When holding the Quran or the book to be memorized, recite the prayer: “Bismillahi wa subhanallahi wal hamdulillahi wa laa ilaha illallahu wallahu akbar wa la haula wa la quwwata illa billahiil ‘aliyyil ‘azhimil ‘azizi ‘alim ‘adada kulli harfin kutiba wa yuktabu abadal abidina wa dahrad dahirin.”
5. Recite this prayer after every obligatory prayer: “amantu billahil wahidil ahadil haqq wahdahu la syarikalahu wa kafartu bima siwahu."
6. Read abundant blessings upon the Prophet.
7. Be diligent in using a tooth stick and drinking honey to maintain health.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَّجِيدٌ. اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَّجِيدٌ

Fafahhamnā Sulaimāna, wa kullan ātaynā hukman wa ‘ilman, wa sakhkharnā ma’a dāwūdal jibāla yusabbihna wat thayra, wa kunnā fā’ilīn. Yā hayyu, yā qayyūmu, yā rabbā Mūsā wa Hārūna, wa rabbā Ibrāhīma, wa yā rabbā Muhammadin shallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallama ‘alayhim ajma’īn. Allāhummarzqnīyal fahma, wal ‘ilma, wal hikmata, wal ‘aqla, bi rahmatika, yā arhamar rahimīn.

Meaning:

“We gave understanding to Solomon. We granted wisdom and knowledge to each of them. We subdued the mountains and birds for David. They glorify. We are the ones who do all that. O living being, O upright being, O Lord of Moses, Aaron, Lord of Abraham, O Lord of Muhammad SAW. O Allah, grant me understanding, knowledge, wisdom, and intelligence through Your mercy, O Most Merciful."
