The baby was intentionally abandoned by her mother who was experiencing economic problems. The baby was kept in a blue bag along with a note from her mother. The unfortunate baby was found with milk, wet wipes, and baby clothes.
In a post on the TikTok account @hairattss_, the baby is also seen wearing a bracelet and several letters left by her parents.
In the letter, the mother pleads to anyone who finds her child to give them to someone who wants a child.
"Whoever finds this baby, please give her to someone who wants a child," the mother wrote.
The mother also wrote instructions on how to make milk and care for the child, who is believed to be named Shiren Viona.
"So be a strong child, my dear. We're sorry, our economy isn't enough to raise you. But mama loves you very much. You're like a rainbow to us," she continued.
After being found, the baby girl was immediately evacuated to RSUD Batara Siang, Pangkep Regency, for medical treatment.
"At that time, we were traveling from Makassar and stopped at the bus stop to rest," said one of the motorcyclists who found the baby, Nursanti.
Kapolsek Minasatene, AKP Mukhlis stated that from the letter left behind, it was known that the baby girl was named Shiren Viona.
"We are still investigating the abandonment of the baby. Preliminary suspicion is that the baby is the result of an illicit affair," said Mukhlis.
