The results of the ultrasound examination serve as early detection of pregnancy problems as well as stunting or chronic malnutrition problems that cause babies to fail to grow, such as being short and underweight. In children experiencing weight faltering (not meeting the standard), if left untreated, it will lead to underweight and further progress to malnutrition (wasted). The management of weight faltering is by referring the toddler to a health center to be treated by a doctor, providing protein-rich supplementary food for 14 days, and counseling by a general practitioner.

If left untreated, malnutrition will occur and the child will become very thin. This condition, if not immediately addressed, can disrupt growth, development, and bodily functions. The treatment for children with malnutrition is to refer them to a health center and provide them with additional food rich in animal protein for 90 days. If a toddler has indications of a serious illness such as congenital heart disease, they must be referred to a hospital.

Handling stunted children themselves will later be referred to the hospital to receive treatment from a specialist doctor for children, as well as counseling and the provision of PKMK (Food with Special Medical Needs) according to indications and prescriptions from the pediatrician. Meanwhile, for toddlers with normal weight and height, they still need to be given local Additional Food Provision (PMT) containing animal protein and milk. This step can prevent weight faltering up to 54%.
