According to him, it is not allowed in Islam. He reminds the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) which is to prevent his people from having a mentality of beggars.

"If Uncle Budenya gives a gift, please accept it, as Prophet said: gifts should be accepted, not rejected, as Rasulullah said, if we teach them to have a beggar mentality, never!," said the graduate ustaz from the University of Quranic Sciences."
