According to the Instagram account @fiastinyat, every Palestinian resident usually prepares a bag at the door of their house for emergency situations. Those bags are called "Shantah" by Palestinian residents and are commonly found at every door in the Gaza Strip.

When there is a bomb or missile attack by Israel in Gaza Strip, those who manage to survive leave their homes and seek shelter elsewhere. They often do not have time to take their belongings in a matter of seconds before the continuous missile attacks.

This is what later makes every Palestinian citizen, even children, prepare their own bags. They put their identification cards and some important documents, a few clothes, and personal necessities inside. Even children there often bring one of their favorite toys inside their bags.

For those who are lucky, they have time to bring their bags and escape from missile attacks. The bag will then be carried from one place to another to save themselves from deadly Israeli attacks.
