"The Most Blessed City on Earth"

The Story of the Most Blessed City on Earth

Dream - Mekah and Madinah are believed to be the most blessed cities on earth. The uniqueness of these two cities is even described in the Al-Quran. However, besides these two holy cities, there is also another city blessed by Allah with various privileges. That city is Tarim.

The Story of the Most Blessed City on Earth

Tarim is a historical city located in Hadhramaut, Yemen. This city is considered one of the most blessed lands as it is the center where the saints of Allah gather.

Another special feature of this city is the presence of many mosques, totaling 360, according to the number of days in 1 year. Tarim is also known as a center for seeking knowledge for the scholars.

The city of Tarim is often called Al-Ghanna, which means a very fertile place. Despite being located in the middle of a barren sandy desert area, this city is blessed with lush and abundant large trees as well as clean sources of water.

Tarim is also known as Madina As-Shiddiq. Because, in this city, the companion of Prophet Abubakar Ash-Shiddiq requested the loyalty oath of the ruler of Tarim at that time, named Ziyad bin Lubaid Al-Anshori, along with its residents.

The Story of the Most Blessed City on Earth

Among the many advantages of this city, one that makes it particularly special is the presence of many descendants of Ahlul Bait Rasulullah SAW. The people in this city are blessed with goodness and noble behavior because they still have the bloodline of the Prophet.

The Prophet Muhammad PBUH even once praised this city in his saying, "Indeed, I truly smell the fragrance of the grace of the Most Merciful God from Yemen. How many springs of generosity and wisdom radiate from there."

Because of the extraordinary nature of Tarim City, until now many people come there to seek blessings, pursue knowledge, and visit the tombs of the saints of Allah. Although the current situation in Yemen is still not conducive to visit.

Now Tarim has turned into a quiet little town. There are no vehicle horns, skyscrapers, or other luxuries like in metropolitan cities. Tarim is just a tiny town with a population of one hundred thousand people.

Here is the translation of the text from Bahasa to English while preserving the HTML tags: "In this area, residential settlements are still dominated by houses made of dry clay. This city offers a thick classic atmosphere. If most cities in the Middle East region are hot, it does not apply to this place. Lush trees growing along the streets make this city shady."

In this city, there are still many old buildings that are remnants of past Islamic civilization. Starting from old mosques, ulama madrasas, tombs of saints and righteous people, as well as traces of the Prophet's companions' relics. Because it holds millions of history, since 2010 Tarim has been designated as the Capital of Islamic Culture.
