4 Recipe for Delicious Fried Tofu

Very delicious when dipped in soy sauce chili.

Dream - Who can resist the deliciousness of tahu walik ayam? This particular tahu has an incredibly savory taste and a crispy texture that is hard to ignore. In Indonesia, tahu walik has become a favorite among many. Its origin can be traced back to Banyuwangi, East Java, where this delicious snack first appeared. However, over time, tahu walik ayam has spread to various cities with a variety of recipe variations that are appetizing. Resep 1: Tahu Walik Ayam

Recipe 1: Tofu Walik Chicken

Ingredients: 250 grams of chicken meat, 20 pieces of fried tofu, 1 egg, 1 stalk of spring onion, 6 tablespoons of tapioca flour, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce, ½ teaspoon of chicken powder, ½ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of pepper.

How to Make: Fry tofu, cut it in half and flip the tofu part. Prepare chicken, garlic, salt, powdered pepper, powdered broth, sesame oil, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, then blend or chop them finely. Add tapioca flour and egg, then blend again until well mixed. Add sliced green onions, stir well and taste. Take half of the tofu and fill it with chicken filling in the brown-colored tofu part. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used. Heat cooking oil, then put in the tofu and fry with medium heat until cooked. Once the tofu is cooked, remove and drain. Tofu stuffed with chicken is ready to serve.

Recipe 2: Tahu Walik Ayam Super Kriuk

Ingredients: 10 pieces of tofu skin, 100 grams of ground chicken, 5 tablespoons of tapioca flour, 3 tablespoons of wheat flour, 5 cloves of garlic, 2 stalks of green onions, ¼ teaspoon of sesame oil, Salt as needed, Nutmeg as needed, Ground pepper as needed, Chicken broth as needed, Water as needed.

How to make: Mash and chop garlic and scallions. Split the tofu and turn the inside part to the outside. Prepare the filling by mixing ground chicken, tapioca flour, wheat flour, garlic, scallions, salt, sesame oil, pepper, nutmeg, chicken broth powder, and hot water. Then, stir quickly until the dough is not too thick or too runny. Coat the flipped tofu with a little tapioca flour. Prepare a frying pan with cooking oil, heat it over medium heat. Fill the flipped tofu with the chicken mixture, then fry the tofu until golden brown, crispy, and dry. Remove and drain. Flipped tofu is ready to be served with dipping sauce.

Recipe 3: Tofu Walik Chicken Shrimp

Ingredients:250 grams of chicken breast250 grams of peeled shrimp5 tablespoons of wheat flour2 tablespoons of tapioca flour1 eggFried chocolate tofuCarrots as neededCelery as neededSalt as neededMushroom broth/seasoning as needed

How to make: - Split the tofu into two parts and take out the filling. - Separate the chicken breast and skin, cut the chicken and peeled shrimp into small pieces. - Blend or chop the chicken breast, shrimp, and egg. Then add salt and seasoning. - Add and mix carrots, celery, tapioca flour, and wheat flour. - Then, also mix the remaining filling with the tofu. Add the chicken mixture to the flipped tofu. - Steam for 15 minutes if you want to store it in the freezer. - Fry in hot oil until golden brown.

Recipe 4: Tofu Walik Chicken and Vegetables

Ingredients:12 pieces of tofuFrying oilSweet soy sauceBird's eye chiliFilling Ingredients:200 grams of ground chicken80 grams of spinach80 grams of blanched90 grams of tapioca flour1 egg white3 cloves of garlic1 teaspoon of chicken broth seasoning¼ teaspoon of white pepper powder

How to Make: Finely chop garlic, spinach, and carrots. Split the tofu into two parts, then flip the tofu so that the skin is on the inside. Mix all the dough ingredients evenly and add chicken broth flavoring.

4. Take a piece of tofu, fill it with chicken and vegetable mixture. Repeat this process until the mixture is finished. 5. Fry the tofu until it is cooked and crispy in hot cooking oil. Remove and drain. 6. Mix sweet soy sauce and bird's eye chili as a dipping sauce, serve the stuffed tofu with soy sauce chili. Source: Diadona
