Step 1: Peel the shrimp's skin and separate the tail from its head. Cut the top part of the shrimp with a knife to remove the dirt. Do the same at the bottom part of the shrimp. Gently press the shrimp to make it straight.
Stir the all-purpose flour, potato starch, and chicken broth slowly until the flour mixture is evenly distributed. Sahabat Dream can stir it with chopsticks or a regular spoon.
Pour the soda slowly and stir using chopsticks to prevent it from clumping when mixed with wheat flour, potato starch, and chicken broth.
When the mixture is evenly mixed, beat the eggs separately and pour into the flour mixture along with the soda. Stir again using chopsticks until well mixed.
Fry the flour mixture that is spread irregularly with hot oil. Lift the flour mixture that has a crunchy texture, then place the shrimp on top. Make sure the crispy coating wraps around the shrimp before frying it again.
Serve shrimp with your favorite sambal sauce or mayonnaise. Dream friends can also serve it with tartar sauce and enjoy it with warm rice.
