Recipe for Cipak Koceak

Ingredients for Cipak: - 250 grams tapioca flour - 125 grams wheat flour - 2 tablespoons garlic powder - 1 stalk of spring onion, thinly sliced - Sufficient amount of powdered broth - Sufficient amount of salt - Sufficient amount of hot water - Sufficient amount of cooking oil

               

Ingredients Spicy Seasoning: 50 grams of dried bird's eye chili powder, 3 tablespoons of garlic powder, 2 thinly sliced kaffir lime leaves (optional), juice of 1 lime (optional), sufficient amount of powdered broth, sufficient amount of hot oil.

How to Make Cipak Koceak: Mix tapioca flour, wheat flour, garlic powder, spring onions, powdered broth, and salt in a large bowl. Pour hot water little by little while stirring until the dough becomes smooth and not sticky to the hands. Shape the dough into small balls or as desired. Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.

Fry the cipak until it turns golden yellow and expands. Lift the cipak and drain. Mix the powdered cayenne pepper, powdered garlic, lime leaves (if using), lime juice (if using), powdered broth, and hot oil in a small bowl. Stir well until all ingredients are mixed.

Serve cipak koceak with spicy seasoning. Sprinkle enough spicy seasoning on top of cipak. Stir well and enjoy while warm.
