APINDO assesses that the Tapera regulations are adding new burdens, both for employers and workers. Currently, the collection burden borne by employers reaches 18.24 percent to 19.74 percent of workers' income. Here are the details:

Social Security Employment Guarantee (based on Law No. 3/1999 'Jamsostek'): Old Age Guarantee 3.7 percent, Death Guarantee 0.3 percent, Work Accident Guarantee 0.24 to 1.74 percent, and Pension Guarantee 2%. Social Health Guarantee (based on Law No. 40/2004 'SJSN'): Health Guarantee 4%.
