Dream - President Jokowi increases performance incentives (tukin) for employees of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR).
This is stated in Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 35 of 2024 concerning Employee Performance Benefits in the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. This regulation was signed by Jokowi on March 13, 2024.
The amount of performance allowance is adjusted according to the class of each employee's position. "Employees in the Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing Environment, in addition to being given income in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, are given performance allowances every month," as stated in Article 2 paragraph (1), as quoted by Liputan6.com from a copy of the Presidential Regulation, Thursday, March 14, 2024.
In this regulation, it is stated that Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono is given a performance allowance of 150 percent of the highest salary in the ministry.
Based on Perpres, the highest allowance for Ministry of PUPR employees is Rp41,550,000. Therefore, Basuki receives an allowance of Rp62,325,000 per month. This amount is obtained from the calculation of the highest allowance, Rp41,550,000, multiplied by 150 percent.
"The performance allowance for the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing as provided for in this Presidential Regulation shall take effect from the date this regulation is enacted," stated Article 5 paragraph 2."
