Dream - Economic problems often haunt most people. Certainly not an easy matter, whether for those who are already married or not. Because basically, everyone tries to meet their needs well. Therefore, working hard becomes the key to achieving it. However, not everyone gets lucky in their work. There are also those who still have difficulty finding a job or getting a salary that is not enough to meet their needs. So, whether we like it or not, we have to borrow money from others.

Borrowing money is when someone borrows a certain amount of money with the intention of returning it within a specific period of time without any additional charges. On the other hand, lending money is when someone requests or receives money with an agreement to return it with an additional specified amount as compensation. In the practice of lending money, the terms and conditions applied are stricter than borrowing money.

This includes an agreement regarding the amount of additional (interest/usury) that must be repaid, as well as the previously established time and method of payment. In addition, to identify the pledged goods, it must be clear along with their quantity and can be transparently accounted for. By understanding the difference between borrowing and lending money based on the principles of Islamic jurisprudence, it is hoped that society can carry out financial practices more accurately and in accordance with Sharia principles.

Therefore, we need to seek ease in borrowing from Allah SWT by reciting the prayers that have been taught in the teachings of Islam. Here is the prayer:

Allahumma inni tadayantu wa 'alaika tawakkaltu wa ilaika amri fawadltu.

This prayer will help us to obtain ease in applying for or paying off debts, as well as resolving economic issues that are being faced. However, as believers, we are also reminded to always repay debts on time according to the agreed upon terms. In addition, this prayer can also serve as a means to calm oneself when collecting debts from friends or relatives.

By reciting prayers, we are expected to be able to control our emotions and maintain good relationships with others even in difficult situations. As Muslims, we believe that Allah SWT will always listen to our prayers and provide ease in all our affairs. Therefore, let us diligently recite prayers to obtain ease in dealing with debts and facing economic problems calmly.

"Whoever recites this prayer seven times in the morning, Allah will protect him from various kinds of debt" (HR. Abu Dawud no. 4988 and At-Tirmidzi no. 3562). This is the prayer to be protected from debt taught by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ"

Translation: "Meaning: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from confusion and sadness. I seek refuge in You from weakness and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess. And I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and human oppression.' To practice this prayer every day, we need to be aware of the principles of Sharia in managing finances. These principles include avoiding usury, living frugally within our means, and striving to live without debt if possible."

By practicing prayer to avoid debt every day, as well as implementing sharia principles in managing finances, we will feel that life is always sufficient and free from the burden of debt that can weigh us down. By performing this prayer with sincere and sincere intentions under Allah's guidance, and striving to implement sharia principles, our lives will be protected from debt and always feel sufficient for Allah's grace.
