The case of tax deviation of PT Luki Mandiri Indonesia Raya has been referred to the East Jakarta Prosecutor's Office (Kejari) in 2019. Another suspect in this case is Ike Andriani. "That this is not a new case. Based on the data available in the DJP administrative system, it is known that in the period of 2019, PT LMIR did not fulfill its tax obligations in accordance with tax regulations," said Director of Counseling, Services, and Public Relations of DJP, Dwi Astuti, quoted from Merdeka.com, Thursday, December 28, 2023.

During the process of investigating this case, according to Dwi, supervision stages have been carried out in the form of advising the Taxpayer by issuing a Letter of Request for Explanation of Data and/or Information (SP2DK) on August 25, 2021. However, Indra Charismiadji, the manager of PT. Luki Mandiri Indonesia Raya, did not respond to the letter, so on May 23, 2023, the process continued by conducting a preliminary evidence examination.

In the examination, indications of money laundering (TPPU) were also found. "So the preliminary evidence examination is escalated to the investigation stage," added Dwi. However, Dwi added, DJP has already conveyed to Nurindra B Charismiadji to utilize the provisions of Article 44B paragraph (2) KUP.

"\u201cHowever, it is regulated that the Taxpayer only needs to pay the principal tax plus a penalty fine of 1 time the amount of the principal tax. However, this is still not utilized,\u201d said Dwi. Therefore, the East Jakarta Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) continued the investigation process by issuing a Notice of Commencement of Investigation (SPDP) notification to the Prosecutor's Office in August 2023."

The case will continue to the second stage or the submission of case files and suspects to the High Prosecutor's Office of DKI Jakarta on December 27, 2023.
