"But this one has a beautiful number, but I'm also curious and want to answer it, but I want to answer it in the afternoon because I've been called a lot," he said.

Finally, after receiving that call, he found out that the phone call came from a bill collector or online lending debt collector. Friderica suspected that her phone number was used by her former driver as a guarantor for online lending. According to her, this often happens to relatives in the community who take out online loans.

"Turns out, it was not the debt collector, it was actually my former driver who used a PUJK (Financial Services Business Entity) product and couldn't pay, and it seems that my name was probably listed as the guarantor, something like that,"

There is an important point taken by Friderica. She said that it becomes a sign that the use of online lending platforms must be done wisely. If not, then the losses can spread to relatives or close people.

This can happen not only from illegal online lending platforms, but also from legal ones. "So basically, even though the products are legal, if people use them recklessly, for example, borrowing more than they can handle, then they will become victims as well. It's not just affecting them, but also the people around them. In fact, as I mentioned earlier, I myself have become a victim of these collections," he revealed.

Friderica explains, the collection actions carried out by debt collectors can erode public trust in the financial services industry. In fact, there are cases where victims of online lending platforms have even reported to the Head of State.

"This is how we see customers resorting to complaining to the President, even camping at OJK and so on. Every day we hear news about debt collectors engaging in violence, and financing companies then saying 'oh, that's from a third party' and so on, and also a lot of disturbances in chat and phone calls for collection from leasing, and so on," he concluded.
