Dream - Commissioner of the Public Housing Savings Management Agency (Tapera), Heru Pudyo Nugroho, explained that Tapera participants can withdraw their savings if they stop working until they are affected by the Termination of Employment (PHK).
"\u201cCan be (withdrawn from Tapera) if resign, terminated, laid off, all of that can be done later,\u201d"
According to Heru, quoted from Liputan6.com, Monday, June 3, 2024.
The text translates to: "The term refers to Government Regulation Number 21 of 2024 regarding amendments to Government Regulation (GR) Number 25 of 2020 concerning the Public Housing Savings (Tapera)."
In the PP, according to Heru, unused savings funds will be returned to participants once they reach retirement age, or participants can withdraw the funds when facing certain circumstances.
"So that is the savings scheme and in accordance with PP 25 of 2020 regarding the implementation of Tapera, it will be returned at the end of the membership period due to retirement at the age of 58 for self-employed workers or other reasons that cause the end of the membership period,"
He said.
Participants of Tapera dues, ta,bah Heru, can only apply for housing financing credit after saving for a minimum of 12 months.
"If the down payment is possible, save for 12 months before being eligible for a mortgage loan. And we can simulate the waiting period, what's important is that you have to wait for one year before applying for a mortgage loan,"

He stated, if more participants contribute to Tapera, the principle of mutual cooperation to help private workers and self-employed workers obtain houses can be achieved more quickly.
"The more participants, the more the principle of mutual cooperation will be effective, because the liquidity will be higher, so the housing will be more active,""
