Dream - Being able to perform the Hajj pilgrimage to the Holy Land is an invaluable blessing for every Muslim. Muslims who become guests of Allah have their own stories of struggle until they can reach the Kaaba. A similar struggle is also experienced by Suparmin, who went on Hajj with his wife, Sariyem, this year. The elderly couple embarked on the Hajj pilgrimage after waiting for decades.
The following 'Bahasa' text translated to 'English' while preserving any html tags is: "This couple from Sragen Regency has been collecting every penny they earned since they were young. Their struggle to register for Hajj began when the husband worked as a sugarcane cutter for 5 years. The income was not enough for daily meals."

Feeling that life is difficult, Suparmin finally changed professions to become a motorcycle taxi driver. His income slowly started to improve. In addition to being sufficient to meet their living needs, this couple can also pay for the school fees of their three children.
"Although he has to work hard as a motorcycle taxi driver day and night to meet his family's needs, Suparmin is confident that he can fulfill his dream of going to the Holy Land. Little by little, he sets aside his income and saves it to register for the Hajj. 'I allocate a portion of my income to register for the Hajj with my wife,' said Suparmin."
The result of working diligently as a motorcycle taxi driver, Suparmin finally bought a cow for breeding. As time went by, the number of cows being raised increased to 3. By selling the 3 cows, Suparmin and his wife immediately registered for Hajj in 2012.
"During that time, I was very happy, finally I could fulfill my desire to register for the Hajj with my wife," he said.
He claimed that there was a blessing when registering for the pilgrimage, with the opening of Suparmin's fortune. After registering for the pilgrimage, slowly he could buy a stall in the market. He and his wife sell at the stall and earn a decent income. Until 2023, despite being in old age, 75-year-old Suparmin, who has 11 grandchildren, has fortune and feels compelled to go on a pilgrimage with his wife.
"\u201cOne year before the scheduled departure for Hajj, unexpectedly I was blessed, and I used it to perform Umrah with my wife,\u201d he said. \u201cThank God, this year we can depart to perform the Hajj pilgrimage together with my wife to the Holy Land,\u201d he added."
