Dream - A long queue and a considerable cost make it difficult for some people to be able to go on a pilgrimage at an old age. However, it does not diminish the enthusiasm of elderly pilgrims to fulfill every stage of the pilgrimage in the Holy Land. A netizen shared a moment when they met a 98-year-old pilgrim who still looked healthy and was going through the series of Hajj rituals. The moment was uploaded by the TikTok account @rudiantosyalala2 below.
Although she is elderly, the woman named from Sampang, Madura, appeared agile walking among the other congregants. This made the video recorder feel amazed at the spirit of the elderly congregation.
In the video, it can be seen that the grandmother went on a pilgrimage accompanied by a woman. She mentioned that the elderly pilgrim's name is Pima. "A 98-year-old pilgrim from Madura Sampang," wrote the caption of the upload.
In the video, Pima appears to be walking quickly without wearing sandals or shoes. He is only wearing white socks. While walking, one of Pima's hands holds onto the fence beside him. Meanwhile, his other hand seems busy lifting his dress slightly to facilitate his steps.
"Although his body appears to be starting to hunch, Pima's steps are still agile as he walks among the younger congregation. This has also impressed many netizens who have seen him."
