"Bathing will cause the mother's bones to ache, catch the flu, and shiver. Dr. Benedictus Arifin, an obstetric and gynecology specialist, revealed that bathing after giving birth is actually not medically prohibited."

He explained that there are no limitations or restrictions in the medical aspect for new mothers to take a bath. This applies if the mother is in good condition and does not have any complaints.

"So actually there are no medical restrictions, after giving birth, people can start shampooing and taking a bath as long as there are no complaints," said Dr. Benny.

Just make sure the water is not too cold, and at a temperature that warms the body. Warm water can help the mother relax after going through a very exhausting childbirth process.
