Dream - PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) files a lawsuit against the General Election Commission (KPU) to the State Administrative Court (PTUN) in East Jakarta regarding alleged legal violations in the 2024 Election.
"In its petitum, the PDIP legal team requested the panel of judges to annul the results of the 2024 Election and strike out candidate 02 Prabowo-Gibran."
"Today we filed a lawsuit through the Administrative Court (PTUN), specifically regarding the unlawful actions by the ruling government, primarily the KPU. Our lawsuit is of the type onrechmatige overheidsdaad in legal language, meaning an act that violates the law by the government authority."
said the Chairman of the PDIP Legal Team, Gayus Lumbuun, Tuesday, 2 April 2024.
"The essence of this lawsuit is very different from other lawsuits in the Constitutional Court, for example. The difference is because in the Constitutional Court, it is about calculating the disputed votes. While we, on the other hand, are not only focusing on the legal process by the KPU (Election Commission), but also more focused on the illegal actions."

The legal team requested the panel of judges to order the defendant to postpone the implementation of Decision KPU Number 360 of 2024 regarding the Determination of the Election Results for President and Vice President, Members of the DPR (People's Consultative Assembly), DPRD (Regional Representative Council), DPD (Regional Representative Council), and so on, until there is a final legally binding decision.
