Dream - The development of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) in Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan (Kaltim), continues. Head of the Nusantara Capital City Authority (OIKN), Bambang Susantono, said to anyone who doubts the development of IKN to come to the location and see it firsthand.
"Many people always ask what is IKN, I always say that seeing is believing, please come here and see for yourself," said Bambang quoted from Merdeka.com, Monday, February 12, 2024.
"He stated that the progress of IKN development can be opened to the public. \u201cThere are many elements of society who want to see it here and we are very open. Nothing is hidden here,\u201d said Bambang."
However, Bambang conveyed that there still needs to be regulation to limit the number of visitors who want to see the construction of IKN, in order to prevent work accidents.
Besides, there needs to be a schedule adjustment, so that workers can pursue the development target as specified.
"This year is the first stage. Actually, from our master plan in 2024, it is the first stage, and after that, we will have four more stages. So building a city indeed requires a long breath, it must be consistent until 2045. Because I am not Aladin after all."

Bambang mentioned that one of the constructions that will be completed this year is the State Palace. "Behind me, for example, that is the State Palace, it is already more than 50 percent done, and hopefully by August 17, 2024, it will be ready in front of the palace for us to hold a ceremony, God willing," said Bambang.
Apart from that, there are also four coordinator ministry buildings that will be occupied by each ministry/agency that is under one coordination related.
The objective to be achieved is to create a new culture and way of working, where one can work digitally in a co-working space and achieve better coordination.
