Dream - The government through the Ministry of PAN-RB will open recruitment for prospective Civil Servants (CASN) or CPNS and Government Employees with Employment Agreements (PPPK) for the first period in March 2024. The total number of CPNS selection formations needed this year is 1.2 million employees.
"The formation set by Minister Pak consists of 1.2 million," said Acting Deputy of Human Resources for the Ministry of PANRB, Aba Subagja, quoted from Merdeka.com, Thursday, March 14, 2024."
Aba mentioned that the total requirement for Civil Servants (ASN) in 2024 is 2,302,543 positions. The remaining requirement of 1.2 million positions in the first period will be allocated to the second and third periods.
"So there is a possibility that there will be remaining formations that will be utilized in the next 2 periods," said Aba.
"He hopes that the central and regional governments are committed to immediately fulfilling those needs. One of the things that the government is concerned about is the formation of honorary staff."
"Because this will end in December 2024, so worry after 2024 there should be no more recruitment except for civil servants (PNS) and non-civil servant government employees (PPPK). Hopefully we can resolve it this year because the principle for non-civil servant personnel is to be resolved 100 percent as it is mandated by Law 20/2023,"

As information, the total requirement for Civil Servants (ASN) in 2024 is 2,302,543 positions, of which 22 percent is allocated for educational personnel in the regions.
From the total national civil servant needs, 419,146 or 22.45 percent have been prepared for the fulfillment of civil servant needs in local governments. For the needs of central agencies, it consists of 207,247 civil servant candidates who will be opened for vacancies of lecturers, teachers, healthcare workers, and technical positions.
Meanwhile, 221,936 PPPK needs will open vacancies for teachers, health workers, and technical staff. Meanwhile, for the needs of regional agencies, there are 483,575 CPNS for technical vacancies, as well as 1,383,758 PPPK needs for teachers, health workers, and technical staff.
