"Dream - The Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) explained that the implementation of Arbain or the obligation to perform congregational prayer in the Prophet's Mosque for 40 times is a voluntary worship. Therefore, pilgrims do not need to be disheartened if they have not had the opportunity to perform it."
"If there are any questions about the ruling of leaving Arba'in, it's okay. Because Arba'in is considered a voluntary act of worship. There is no penalty or sin for leaving voluntary acts of worship,""
The worship guide words of Daker Madinah Aswadi are quoted from the Kemenag page, Monday, May 20, 2024.

Priority is to Maintain Conditions for Peak Hajj Worship
Aswadi explained, especially if the reason for not performing Arbain for the elderly or other pilgrims is to maintain health conditions and prevent pilgrim fatigue. "Maintaining our own health conditions to later perform the peak of the Hajj is more obligatory," he said.
He advised that elderly pilgrims should pay attention to their health condition. If their health condition is good and they feel capable, they can worship in Masjid Nabawi. However, if their health condition does not support them to travel to Masjid Nabawi, it is better to continue their worship in the hotel where they are staying.
"Jemaah tidak perlu takut tidak bisa memperoleh fadhilah (keutamaan) Arbain. Karena ada ibadah lain yang dapat kita laksanakan, yang fadhilahnya sama dengan melaksanakan Arbain, yakni akan terbebas dari api neraka, selamat dari azab, serta terbebas dari kemunafikan,"
"tuturnya" translates to "he/she speaks."

"Previously, PPIH found an elderly pilgrim who wanted to perform the Arbain at the Nabawi Mosque. As the call to prayer for Isya echoed, an elderly pilgrim from Madiun suddenly approached the Hajj Media Center Team (MCH)."
At that time, the MCH team was also in the area of Masjid Nabawi. Looking tired, the grandfather asked for directions to enter the mosque because he wanted to pray Isha. "Child, which way is the entrance to the mosque? I prayed Maghrib earlier, then I wanted to go to the restroom, after that I forgot the way back into the mosque, I've been wandering around but haven't found it," he said in Madinah, Saturday, May 18, 2024.
At that time, Masjid Nabawi appeared crowded. Seeing the tired grandfather, the MCH team offered to take him home and recommended him to worship at the hotel.
However, the grandfather said he wanted to fulfill Arbain because he was worried that his hajj would not be valid if he didn't do it. "No, I want Arbain. His worship is not valid if not Arbain," he replied firmly.
