Dream - In the series of Hajj rituals, one of the rituals performed by the pilgrims is throwing the jumrah. The obligation of throwing the jumrah is mandatory. Therefore, when missing this ritual, the pilgrims will be required to pay dam or fidyah. The dam that must be done when not throwing the jumrah is in the form of a goat. If unable to provide a goat, then one can observe fasting for three days during Hajj in the Holy Land and fasting for seven days in the homeland.
Quoted from jabar.nu.or.id, jumrah is often depicted as a symbol of expressing the expulsion of the devil who resides within oneself. Because the devil is a creature that misleads humans in the valley of sin.
Well, in the act of throwing jumrah during worship, Dream's friends need to know the prayer for throwing jumrah. Whether it's jumrah Ula, Wustha, or Aqabah. Here is the prayer for throwing jumrah along with the procedure as compiled by Dream through various sources.
For the hajj pilgrims, the following is the important prayer reading for throwing the jumrah that needs to be memorized:
"Bismillahi wallaahu akbar, rajman lisysyayaayhiini wa ridhan lirrahmaani. Allaahummaj'al hajjan mabruuran wa sa'yan masykuuran. Meaning: 'In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest. Curse to Satan and the pleasure of Allah the Most Merciful. O Allah, make my pilgrimage accepted (mabrur) and my effort appreciated.' After stoning the jamarat, Dream's friends also need to recite the prayer again. Here is the prayer recitation after stoning the jamarat: Allahummaj'alhu hajjan mabruuron wa dzanban maghfuuron."
Translation: "Meaning: 'O Allah, make (throwing these pebbles) a means to attain accepted Hajj and forgiveness of sins,' (HR Ahmad). Another prayer that friends of Dream can practice after throwing the pebbles is as follows: Praise be to Allah, abundant, pure, and blessed praise. O Allah, I cannot enumerate Your praise upon You, as You have praised Yourself. O Allah, I have turned to You, and from Your punishment I have sought refuge, and to You I have desired and from You I have feared, so accept my supplication, magnify my reward, have mercy on my humility, accept my repentance, lessen my mistakes, and answer my prayers. O Allah, make it an accepted Hajj and a rewarded effort."
Translation: "Meaning: "All praise be to Allah, abundant and good praise that brings blessings. O Allah, we are unable to encompass all kinds of praise for You, according to Your praise for Yourself. O Allah, only to You do I surrender from Your punishment, I seek mercy from You, and I hope and fear You. So accept my worship, increase my rewards, have mercy on my humility, accept my repentance, minimize my mistakes, grant my requests, and fulfill my desires."
"O Allah, accept and grant our offerings, and do not make us among those who commit sins, but rather include us among Your righteous servants, O Most Merciful Lord. O Allah, my Lord, make my pilgrimage a blessed pilgrimage and my effort a accepted effort."
Considering that throwing jumrah is part of the obligatory series of Hajj, then the procedure must be done correctly.
The following is the procedure for throwing jumrah that is important to be known by every hajj pilgrim: - Stones should hit the marma or go into the hole. - Throw seven stones one by one. - Throw in the correct order, starting with jumrah Ula, Wustha, and Aqabah.
In the hajj worship, it can be ensured that the pilgrims are very numerous. Therefore, the pilgrims must be careful when performing each series of hajj worship, including throwing jumrah.
The following are some safe tips for throwing jumrah that can be observed: Avoid prime time as it is very risky. So, try to throw jumrah at the designated time and with your hajj group. Choose a time other than prime time. For example, in the afternoon until evening. Choose a time other than the most recommended and preferred time. It starts from the dawn of that day. For those who perform the early nafar, throw jumrah on the 11th and 12th of Zulhijjah. While for the second nafar, throw jumrah on the 11th, 12th, and 13th of Zulhijjah. Follow the schedule for throwing jumrah that has been determined according to the decision of the Saudi Arabian Ministry.
