"Going on a pilgrimage, there are mixed feelings. There is a feeling of happiness to be able to go on a pilgrimage, but also sadness because it should have been father who went on a pilgrimage,"
Resky said in the Arafah Hall of the Sudiang Makassar Hajj Dormitory, quoted from Liputan6.com, Monday, May 13, 2024.

Registering 10 Years Ago

Resky tells that his father registered for regular Hajj 10 years ago. However, before receiving a call from the waiting list, his father passed away.

From the family agreement, he was entrusted to replace his father in performing the Hajj pilgrimage. According to him, his father and mother were supposed to depart for Hajj in 2020. However, the departure of both his parents had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
