Dream - The Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) regrets the incident of the damaged engine of the Garuda Indonesia aircraft carrying the Makassar embarkation hajj pilgrims. Anna explained, Hajj pilgrims after landing at Sultan Hasanuddin airport were evacuated to the Haji Embarkation Dormitory in Sudiang Makassar. Then, the pilgrims were placed in the Haji Dormitory Hall to rest and wait for the next flight schedule.
Anna revealed, Garuda Indonesia promised to depart the UPG-05 Hajj pilgrims at 21.00 WITA heading to Madinah. This plane was initially prepared to depart UPG-06, which will only fly tomorrow morning. Furthermore, Garuda Indonesia will prepare another plane to fly UPG-06 on May 16, 2024.
