The Story of Nur Faizin, Blind Pilgrim Who Was Delayed for Several Years But Became a Blessing

Dream - Mochamad Nur Faizin (45), a hajj pilgrim from Kendal, Central Java, is being carried by his younger brother, Yuliawan F (43), while strolling in Embarkasi Solo. They attract attention. Many wonder why Nur Faizin, who is physically fit, needs to be carried while walking.

Yuliawan revealed that his older brother, whom he referred to as "sang kakak," is a visually impaired person with disabilities. Both of them, along with their respective wives, are members of the 39th group (kloter) of the Solo Embarkation (SOC-39). Limited vision does not hinder Faizin's determination to embark on the Holy Land journey.

"The capital is reliance, in the name of Allah, may it be strong,"
The following is the translation of the given 'Bahasa' text to 'English' while preserving any html tags: "words from Faizin when met in his room, Madinah Building, Haji Donohudan Dormitory, quoted from the Ministry of Religious Affairs' website, Friday, May 24, 2024."

"Delayed Departure"

Initially, Faizin was scheduled to depart in 2021, while his younger sibling in 2022. However, due to the pandemic, their departures had to be postponed until this year. But for Faizin, this delay turned out to be a blessing. Because he could depart to the Holy Land together with his sibling. "I can even depart with my younger sibling," said Faizin.

The following is the translation of the given 'Bahasa' text to 'English' while preserving any HTML tags: "The man born in 1979 tells that he has been experiencing vision problems since 2015. Currently, his eyes feel painful, and day by day, he is increasingly unable to see."

Yuliawan said that his older sibling suffers from glaucoma, where there is pressure on the eyeball. The physical aspect of the eye is still intact, but there is a disturbance in the optic nerve.

"During the process, gradually losing the ability to see feels very painful. And when completely unable to see, the doctor will consider performing surgery, but cannot guarantee whether the surgery will be successful or not."
Yuliawan's word.

"Faizin also accepted and embraced his condition with resignation. Until finally, this year he was called to Baitullah. He then requested prayers for his pilgrimage to the holy land to proceed smoothly. "Please pray for me, may I be strong and have a smooth pilgrimage," said Yuliawan."
