SEVENTEEN and NewJeans, who recorded the highest album sales

SEVENTEEN and NewJeans won the main award 'Golden Disc' at this event. These two groups achieved the highest album sales and became the main award (Daesang) winners.
SEVENTEEN, with their tenth mini-album 'FML' released last year, recorded sales of more than 6 million copies. They have won various awards, from the Newcomer Award at the 30th GoldenDisc Awards in 2016. Finally, at the 38th awards, they became the winner of the Grand Prize.
At this Golden Disc Awards, they became the triple crown winners, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Grand Prize. Including the award for the group unit BSS, they are the winners of four.
NewJeans, won the Newcomer Award and the Grand Prize at the 37th Golden Disc Awards, has developed as the winner of the Grand Prize within one year. Their song 'Ditto', which was released in January last year, became a mega-hit worldwide. Their sharp improvement in two years has made people more curious about NewJeans' next steps.
