A surprise happened at the Miss Universe 2024 event this time, because there is a representative from Saudi Arabia. This is known from the Instagram post by @rumy_alqahtani. Rumy is mentioned to represent the Kingdom in Miss Universe.
In the uploaded photo by Rumy, she appears to be wearing a silver sequined tube dress that looks very luxurious. Rumy is also wearing a crown and a scarf that says "Miss Universe Saudi Arabia".
"I feel honored to be able to participate in the Miss Universe International 2024 competition. This is the first participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Miss Universe competition," wrote Rumy in her Instagram post."
Rumi is known as a professional model, 27 years old, born in Riyadh. She previously participated in many beauty competitions. Like Miss & Mrs Global Asian 2023 in Malaysia, which made her name more popular in Asia.
"He has also participated in events such as Miss Arab World 2021 and Miss Europe Saudi Arabia 2023. His journey in the world of beauty pageants seems to be very accomplished. It's no wonder he was sent as the first contestant from Saudi Arabia to Miss Universe."
