For example, the ability to see and estimate time is often linked to lower activity in certain brain regions, including the prefrontal cortex (the brain region that controls decision-making, memory, and speech, among other important functions).

There are several strategies that can be used to help manage time blindness issues more effectively. Using alarms or time reminders to schedule activities. To improve focus and understanding of time, listening to instrumental music while working or engaging in activities can be a good option. The Pomodoro method can also be applied, where work is divided into 25-minute work periods followed by a 5-minute break. After four work sessions, it is recommended to take a longer break, around 15 to 30 minutes.

"Helping the brain recognize time can also be done by setting regular alarms, for example every 30 minutes, to help improve the ability to measure time more accurately. In addition, seeking support from a coach to learn time management or getting assistance from a mental health service provider is an important step. Cognitive behavioral therapy can also be a good option to help improve the main symptoms of ADHD, including time blindness issues."
