Dream - Mudik Lebaran is one of the unique phenomena in Indonesia. These migrants return to their hometowns through long and tiring journeys.
Not only tiring, but also long journeys during homecoming make passengers hungry. Usually intercity buses will stop at a shop or restaurant for passengers to eat.
However, during this Lebaran moment, most stalls and restaurants along the homecoming route are closed. Fortunately, the passengers who are going home in South Sulawesi have a kind-hearted bus driver. When the passengers are hungry, the bus driver secretly prepares a surprise that touches their hearts.
So the story is that the passengers of Borlindo bus on the Palu-Makassar route are still on their way home on the first day of Eid. The delay can be understood considering the long journey and the bus's departure time being close to Idul Fitri.
During the tiring journey, the passengers felt hungry. Understandably, it was already 12 noon, the time when people usually feel hungry.
However, the passengers did not find any open stalls or restaurants on the first day of Lebaran. The bus passengers were forced to endure hunger while the journey was still far.
I did not expect it, the bus driver secretly took the passengers to a house to eat.
"In the house, the passengers were served a very large amount of food."
Investigating further, it turns out that the house where the passengers eat is the residence of the bus driver's in-laws.
As a result, all bus passengers eat together feeling at home. The passengers also express their gratitude to the bus driver and his kind mother-in-law.
Using palm leaves to write 'Help', these three stranded individuals were eventually accidentally found by their distant relatives.
