Dream - To accompany the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, there are many snacks that you can prepare. One special choice because the ingredients are a favorite of Prophet Muhammad is date cookies. Often used as a snack for breaking the fast, dates can actually be used as the main ingredient in making delicious cookies. Ingredients: 275 gr low protein wheat flour, 175 gr margarine, 50 gr butter, 2 egg yolks, 1 sachet of white condensed milk, 50 gr powdered sugar, 15 chopped dates.
How to make: Mix all ingredients except dates and flour, blend using a mixer until well mixed. Add flour, stir until it can be kneaded. Add dates. Prepare a baking pan, lightly coat with margarine. Take 1 teaspoon of dough, shape into round and flatten. Arrange the shaped dough in the baking pan. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, according to each oven. Remove and let it cool at room temperature. Date cookies are ready to be served in a jar.
Ingredients: 300 gr all-purpose flour, 10 gr full cream milk powder, 15 gr cornstarch, 50 gr butter, 100 gr margarine, 125 gr powdered sugar, 2 egg yolks, 20 gr grated cheddar cheese, 30 gr chopped dates, 30 gr raisins, 50 gr dark chocolate.
How to Make: Roughly chop the dates and raisins, set aside. Grate the cheese, prepare the DCC. Mix the sifted flour, powdered milk, and cornstarch, set aside. Put the butter, margarine, and powdered sugar in a container, stir until well mixed. Add the egg yolks, stir again until well mixed. Add the flour mixture little by little, knead. Add the grated cheese with slices of raisins and dates, roll out and flatten.
Print the dough according to taste, arrange it in a baking pan. Bake in the oven at a temperature of 150°C until cooked for about 20 minutes. Remove and let it cool, decorate with melted DCC. Let it set until the chocolate hardens. The dry cake is ready to be stored in a jar. Source: Diadona.id
