Because the chef from the shop created a 'mix' version of both called Croipat, which is short for croissant ketupat. Of course, the public is full of curiosity about its taste.
In the Instagram account @olios__, this pastry shop located in Bandar Seri Coalfields, Selangor, wrote that they created the unique menu on the 13th of Ramadan last year. At first glance, its shape does indeed resemble a ketupat.

And finally, the drums were beaten, the newlyweds \ud83d\ude02 And on the 13th day of Ramadan, Mat Croipat was born... he is handsome!!," wrote the caption in the Croipat's photo post."
The main ingredient is like croissant dough but shaped like a ketupat with a green color accent. After the dough is molded and decorated with green color, it indeed looks like a ketupat.
The uniqueness is not only in its shape, which is indeed a combination of croissant and ketupat, but also in its filling. If ketupat is only made of compacted rice, croipat has a filling of rendang.
From the uploaded video, the baked Croipat is brownish in color and divided into two. It can be seen that it has rendang filling inside. Truly an unexpected pastry dish, isn't it?
The upload of the Croipat menu immediately caused a sensation, even reaching Indonesia.
