Dream - Want to enjoy delicious snacks in the afternoon but too late to buy from outside? Dream's friends can consume various types of delicious cakes that are easy to make at home.
Not all cakes are made by baking them in the oven. Some can be made by steaming them or simply by putting them in the refrigerator. One of the cakes that is easy to make at home without using an oven is klappertaart. Of course, the homemade klappertaart tastes just as delicious as the ones from a bakery. Check out the klappertaart recipe from Culinary Content Creator, Brian Ardianto, below to make a cafe-style afternoon snack.
"25 grams of medium protein wheat flour 50 grams of cornstarch A pinch of salt 500 ml of full cream UHT milk 3 egg yolks 75 grams of granulated sugar 200 grams of young coconut meat 75 grams of unsalted butter 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence 1 tablespoon of raisins 1 tablespoon of roasted sliced almonds A sufficient amount of cinnamon powder"
Step 1Soak the raisins to make them softer and drain. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, salt, and egg yolk. Pour 250 ml of milk gradually while stirring the mixture until well blended, then set aside.
Heat 250 ml of milk and sugar over low heat until the sugar melts. Don't forget to stir the mixture while heating.
When the sugar has dissolved, pour the flour mixture into the milk and sugar mixture while continuously stirring. Turn off the heat when the mixture thickens.
Enter vanilla essence and unsalted butter into the dough, then mix well. Also add young coconut meat and mix well.
Turn on the small fire and reheat the dough. Add raisins and sliced roasted almonds, then mix well.
When the dough is cooked, arrange it in a container and add raisins, sliced almonds, and cinnamon powder on top. Store in the refrigerator so that the klappertaart can be enjoyed for up to 4 days ahead.
Coriander leaves, which are usually used for tom yum mixture, are now used for milk coffee mixture.
