"Dream - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati ensures that the Eid al-Fitr Allowance (THR) in 2024 for Civil Servants (ASN) will be given in full, 100 percent, according to President Jokowi's instructions."
"The President's (Jokowi) THR (holiday allowance) is set at 100 percent," said Sri Mulyani, quoted from Liputan6.com, Wednesday, March 5, 2024."
In addition to civil servants, THR is also given to non-civil apparatus, namely the TNI and Polri. Sri Mulyani conveyed that THR for civil servants, TNI, and Polri will be disbursed on H-10 of Eid al-Fitr 2024.
Currently, the government is still discussing the search for THR.
"THR as I mentioned is currently in the process, and as we can, we will try to resolve it. So it can be paid 10 days before the holiday,""
he said.
"However, Sri Mulyani did not disclose the government's reasons for paying Lebaran holiday allowance up to 100 percent. This also includes the total budget prepared by the government for the payment of civil servant holiday allowance in 2024."
"Previously, it was reported that the Ministry of Finance was preparing the basic regulations to be able to disburse the Eid Allowance (THR) and the 13th Salary, which have already been budgeted in the 2024 State Budget (APBN). 'So, for the process of drafting the Government Regulation (RPP) and to be able to execute it as usual ten days before Eid, it must start being paid to prepare for it now. So, it was reported to the President,' said Finance Minister Sri Mulyani some time ago."
Based on information quoted from the official website of the Ministry of Finance, the THR component in 2023 consists of payment in the form of basic salary or basic pension plus attached allowances, namely family allowance, food allowance, as well as other structural/functional/general position allowances, and 50 percent of performance allowance per month for those who receive performance allowance.
"In 2023, the THR payment and 13th month salary will also be given to teachers and lecturers who do not receive performance allowances or additional income. They will be given 50 percent of the teacher's professional allowance and 50 percent of the lecturer's professional allowance."
